I got the sixth grade boys photos online and it is even a day early! I had so much fun with these boys. I tried some differnt things and they were so patient. I sure hope you like what we came up with!
If you have any trouble ordering, please get a hold of me! This is the first time I have used packages with the online system, so I may have it all messed up.

We finally got some snow last night. Only about 5 inches, but it was enough to close school and cancel Homecoming till next Friday. I went out today and got some pictures.

The dogs enjoyed the snow, but their feet and bellies got cold pretty quick.

One of the tornadoes went about 3 miles south of Conway and one of the fatalities was there. Since Freddie and Ricky are both firefighters and my Freddie is the manager of the ambulance service, we were out until 4:30 in the morning and then back up early to go do damage surveys. We were out weather spotting when the first tornado came through. I have never been through hail like that. It was like it was raining golf balls and baseballs! Both of our vehicles sustained a lot of hail damage. I just knew that the windows were going to break out. Then we headed out to the damaged area to start helping. The devastation was just unreal. It was in a rather rural and wooded area on dirt roads. We would just be driving along and suddenly the road was blocked by trees or hay bales or power lines or debris from homes. Some times the emergency workers would have to backtrack and try to find another way in. We actually had to load a woman and her son in our truck and take them to the ambulance because of the debris in the road. They were in a hallway in their house when the tornado hit. Their home was completely destroyed and they were thrown into the field with the pieces of their home. Thankfully neither of them were seriously hurt, but she did have to stay in the hospital overnight with a cut on her head and three broken ribs. Since the storms kept coming one after another, we were trying to keep up with the weather forecasts in order to keep the emergency workers safe. We saw at least three other tornadoes during the night.
I have a gallery of photos that I took yesterday. Most of them were taken from the road and are not technically great, so excuse the blur. Believe me, the devastation is much worse than it looks in my pictures.

Here are some of my favorites from the seniors that I have done in the past months. These have been so much fun. I still have a few sessions to finish up and some others to post. If anyone is still considering getting senior photos taken, please schedule soon. The Conway senior video cutoff is January 31 and the yearbook deadline is around that time.

Shortly we’ll be heading off to Panama City Beach, FL and we’ll be camping at St. Andrew’s State Park. I can’t wait! But I won’t completely be away from work. We are going to try to take a real family photo on the beach at sunset with my family, Mom and Dad, and Jeff and Lisa. We’ll have to see how it turns out…..
I’ve been really busy lately. I want to thank everyone! I have had a blast and been able to try so many things. Some of them even turned out good. Here are several from recent session. I’ll have more after we get back from the beach!
